I am moving my blog to WordPress and have many lead gens to the individual blog posts. I would love to be able to transfer the URL slug so that those links will remain the same when I launch my blog/website on WordPress. when I type the URL into the URL permalink section it changes the ‘/’ to ‘-‘

Hi @iamnataliesoul, could you send an example link of what you have now and what you’d like it to look like?
Also, so we can understand what options you have, will you be hosting the site here with us?

Hi there,
WordPress doesn’t allow the ‘/’ in the URL permalink section.
However, you could install a “Redirect” plugin. There are quite a few which are free and highly-rated. These could suit your needs.
You can go to Plugins and search for “Redirect”.
Hope that helps.

Hi @iamnataliesoul,
If you could please share an example link, we’d be happy to advise further. Are you migrating a WordPress.org site, or is it from another service provider?
And @normalusername52 has the right idea as well — using the Redirection plugin might work in your case.
