I am no longer getting comment notifications, also 2 archives on Iphone screen

1. Under settings “Email me whenever” someone posts a comment is checked off. However, I am no longer getting notifications when people post comments. I’d like the notifications to go to
[email redacted].
I still get notified about the Likes but not about the comments. Please help. I’ve done all I can think of.
2. On my Apple Iphone, I see “Archives” twice at the bottom, once above Blogorama and once below. Under settings in my footer, two aren’t there, so I can’t delete one of them.

Can you give me an example of a comment you received on the blog that didn’t send you an email notification? (You can give me a link to the post where the comment is published and I’ll take a look there.) That will help me investigate this for you!
On my Apple Iphone, I see “Archives” twice at the bottom, once above Blogorama and once below. Under settings in my footer, two aren’t there, so I can’t delete one of them.
Those Archives Widgets are coming from your site’s primary sidebar widget area. You can edit the widgets there by going to Appearance > Widgets in your site’s WP Admin dashboard, or by heading directly to your site’s Customizer.

None of the comments show up in my Email anymore. Not for 2 days. If you left me a comment at mycurrentnewsblog.com. It wouldn’t be there. My husband’s comments no longer appear, but they used to. Do you still need a link to a comment?

Hi Janice,
I asked for an example of a specific comment, because I checked our logs and I see that we sent you emails about quite a few new comments in the past few days. Can you please check your email’s spam/junk folder to see if the email are ending up there? You might also try searching your email for a phrase or name from one of those comments to see if you can find the email that way.

I’m sorry about my delay. I was confused when I received your reply. At any rate, I did check the spam folder, and you were right. The comments are indeed there! What do I do so that my blog comments stop going into the spam folder? Please advise. As to the other problem, I haven’t tried your solution yet. I will now. Please advise as to the comments not landing in SPAM anymore. Thanks

Good news. Thanks to your advice, I was able to get rid of the duplicate “Archives”. No longer there on my Iphone!
I still need you to advise me on how to solve the comments going into the SPAM folder problem. Thank you.

Rachel is out for a few days so I am taking a look at any of her messages.
Glad to hear you got your other issue taken care of. In regards to the problem with messages going in to your spam folder, since I see that you have a gmail account, you can just set up a filter to make sure that no emails from WordPress.com go to spam. Here is a help article from Google which you can use to create a filter:

And for the item which you’re filtering for, I would just put “wordpress.com” (without quotes) in the “From” line and for the action, put “never send to spam.”
You should be good to go!
