I am not able to upload images for a post

  I tried to upload/insert images to a Post using Chrome and Firefox (the latest version of both, eg Firefox 6) and the file uploader does not respond when I click on the upload image button. It will let me upload an image if I use the ‘select featured image’ link, but then when the file is saving it saves to a blank page and says “done” on the bottom left. I made sure my theme was up to date, the wordpress is the current version, and that I am using the current version of flash.

  I have another wordpress blog and just to check I tried uploading an image to a post on that site and it worked perfectly well.
