I am not receiving a confirmation email.

    I have created a new blog, but I cannot do anything with it until I confirm my email address. However, I have not received a confirmation email. I requested a resend on two occasions, but still have not received any confirmation. Is there a standard wait time for the confirmation email to be sent out? I would like to be able to edit/customize my blog ASAP.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Have you looked for the activation email in your spam filter? If you use Gmail or Google Apps, please have a look at this support page for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    Did you use the correct email? You can check it at account settings. If the email is incorrect, update it and click the Save Account Settings button. There’ll be a message saying that there’s a pending change. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and click the link within to verify your email address.

    If neither of the above solve the problem, add “modlook” to the tags of this forum thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

    I have checked all folders for the email, but it is not there. The email address is correct and I am receiving emails notifying me about this topic forum, but no confirmation email.

    I have tagged “modlook” in the thread.
