I am not receiving emails. The original one from wordpress to confirm my account and anything else they might have sent. I had the original email sent multiple times, and I’ve checked my spam folder. I’ve got nothing. How do I get emails from wordpress?

Perhaps you made a typo with your email address. Would you please check what it is at Users -> Personal Settings in your blog’s Dashboard?

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com. Will you please confirm those settings for us?
Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.
Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.

Do you have a second email address that you could temporarily switch to, in order to see if that makes any difference?

I’ve changed the email address. I expect to see something by the end of the day. If I don’t, I’ll think the problem still exists.

Well, an email showed up in my personal gmail account. I’m going to try switching back to the gmail account I use for work.

Why would one gmail account work and the other not? That seems to be what’s going on. I’ll switch back to the one that works.

It’s possible that one Gmail account may be more strict on spam and just deleting these as they come in. The account could also have rules set that may be catching the emails too.
