I am not receiving the activation email? How do I get help?

    I am not receiving the activation email. I’ve sent multiple times and to a different email as well. The emails from WordPress.com are coming through, just not the activating email. Also, is there a way to reach support person with WordPress?

    Hi Billie Jo,
    Have you looked for the activation email in your spam filter? If you use Gmail or Google Apps, please have a look at this support page for assistance: https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-notifications/gmail-issues/

    If that doesn’t work, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread to let WordPress.com staff know that you need assistance with this issue.

    I did try all of those. The User Tab states that it is pending change .

    This is the only message that I received:

    We recently received a request to change the email address for the WordPress.com user _____ from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    If you made this request, you can safely ignore and delete this email.

    If you did not request this change, please respond to this email immediately.

    It still hasn’t changed over. Sadly, I’m not finding this site to be very user friendly and I’m not sure I’ll stay on here if simple things like this can’t be done. I think they have a lot to offer, but I’m concerned it’s just not fluent enough, I don’t have hours to spend looking for something that should be so very simple.

    When you change the email address registered with WordPress.com, the message you posted is what they send to the original email address. The confirmation email like the one below is what they send to the new email address:

    Dear user,
    You recently requested to have the email address on your account changed. If this is correct, please click on the following link to change it:
    https://wordpress.com/verify-email/?newuseremail=%5Bcode removed]

    You can safely ignore and delete this email if you do not want to
    take this action. This email has been sent to [email removed].
