  Hey there, You can add files by going to Dashboard -> Media. You can refer to https://wordpress.com/support/uploading-documents/ for uploading files :)

  Also, the link below contains the type of files allowed.

  As explained in the error message shown in the dashboard when you try to import that file, the file contains content we consider to be spam, and you will not be able to import it to your site. If you want to create a site using that content, you’ll need to host it at another provider that allows that type of content.

  You’re still welcome to use your WordPress.com site to create your own original content. You can see an overview of what types of content is allowed on WordPress.com here:
