I am re-connected to WordPress but want to re-publicize a blog post to Facebook

I had to disconnect my Facebook and Twitter accounts from WordPress. I successfully reconnected Twitter. I went into edit my newest post and made sure I had the publicize (Facebook and Twitter) selected with a check mark in the box. However, only Twitter posts to Twitter. Facebook will not post and shows a different colored check mark box than Twitter (Twitter’s is grey with a check in the box). Please assist me in reconnecting Facebook so I can show my newest blog post to be viewed.
I tried clearing the cashe and then reconnecting/re-log in to all services. It didn’t help Facebook.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – Hmm, I tested your Facebook connection and it seems to be working. If your posts still aren’t publishing to Facebook, can you please try this process one more time:

It still wasn’t working. Then I realized something. I copied all of the text onto my clipboard and then deleted my post (and Twitter and anything left over from that old post). I created a new post (same content) by pasting the information into it. Then all I needed to do is re-write the title and captions (and add pictures). It’s the long way around it but I was able to fix everything that way. Thanks for checking in with me.

Hi there – so the new post posted to Facebook? Wonderful! In future, if you ever have a connection problem to one of your services, refreshing it won’t retroactively publicize any posts that you’ve already published, but it should start working again on the new ones.
