I am receiving an email from something called (email visible only to moderators and staff) saying I need to verify my emai

  Hello and happy New Year.

  Email says that if I do not verify my email by clicking on the link, my service will be disrupted. This is referenced to an old email account and not on the current one. Is this someone phishing? Or is this something I should respond to.

  Could you confirm that your contact email is correct here:

  https://anartistcreates.wordpress.com/wp-admin/users.php?page=grofiles-user-settings

  Scroll down the page to your Account Settings and make sure that email is right. Let me know.

  This is referenced to an old email account and not on the current one. Is this someone phishing? Or is this something I should respond to.

  Did this email come from a @wordpress.com email address? Could you take a screenshot of it, so I can confirm whether or not it’s valid?

  You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

  This is true. You haven’t yet verified your email. I resent it to the domain contact information you have on file. It is a yahoo email address that you have on file for your Domain registration.

  Once you verify the email I’ve sent, you can change your contact information here:
  https://chefjanetrorschach.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains

  Click Edit Domain. Then, adjust any contact information you would like.
