I am so confused about my account!

  I have a blog – its old, this is the URL. http://wendycainphotography.wordpress.com/

  I want to start using it again but its not showing on my dashboard.
  When I go to the dashboard it says I dont have a blog, well I thought that WAS one, so I make a test one called
  http://wendyeveryday.wordpress.com and now I can see it on my dashboard. However I still have this other one…and somehow its not linked to my account. If I go to http://wendycainphotography.wordpress.com/ and logout and in again, it takes me to wendyeveryday!

  Ive spent hours trying to figure it out and I know its a simple thing, but I cant get it! Please can someone look at it for me and explain because I am obviously doing something dumb!

  When we register we provide an email address and when we use that same email address to create additional blogs they appear in the dropdown menu on our dashboards.

  In the end this may not be a bad thing at all. I say that because I have found that it’s extremely convenient to be able to try every new thing I may use in my main blogs in my test blog first.

  We can delete blogs but I urge you to read this entry in case you are considering that. Once it has been deleted that blog name cannot be recycled and used again http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/

  Thanks but that still doesnt help :( Its like I have only one blog but I have two and one is invisible.

  Thanks. Ok, I have a missing blog I think. This one http://wendycainphotography.wordpress.com/ doesnt show on my dashboard and thats the confusion. I think.

  Both blogs are visible to readers. If they had been created using the same email address then they would both appear on your dropdown menu on the dashboard. As the first blog http://wendycainphotography.wordpress.com/ that you created does not appear on your dashboard then I assume you have used a different email address for the two. Is that the case?

  Ahhhh maybe???? I see what you meant now about the emails. Its quite possible that they are different, its so long ago and I cant remember. Um, any ideas how I can sort it out? Thanks for your help, I do appreciate it!

  Ok, I added another user and guessed a very old email address and its now on my list. However its another account altogether. I cant log into it because I cant remember the password and that gets mailed to the old invalid address!

  Well, that means you will need Staff help but at least now you know what the problem is and will be able to provide detailed and specific information to Staff http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ BTW Staff are still on holiday hours so it may be some time before they get to your ticket.
