I am stuck with address ‘home.blog’

    Yesterday I want to create a new site. But the address offered for free is ended with ‘home.blog’ instead of ‘wordpress.com’.
    I have other 3 blogs before this and this thing never occured to me until yesterday.
    Can you explain or assist me on why was this happening and how I can get the ‘wordpress.com’ address?

    Hi, typically that means the .wordpress.com address you picked might already be taken. Have you tried typing the full address with .wordpress.com on it?

    You can also type it in your address bar, and if it’s available you’ll get a link to create the site.

    Hi.
    I have tried typing the address that I want on the address bar and it said the address doesn’t exist, and suggesting me to register the address.

    Then, I clicked the link given and it bring me to “create a site” page.
    After I filled in everything, it took me to “give your site an address”.

    Then, here, the only free domain it suggest to me is ended with home.blog instead of wordpress.com that I tried to register at first place.
    Please assist me, I don’t know how to fix this.

    If you select options what your site is about in the first steps when creating a site our system will suggest an appropriate .blog address according to your selection, if available.

    If you prefer to have a WordPress.com subdomain, please skip the first steps asking what your site is about.
