I am the domain owner but cannot access in WordPress

Hi – domain ownership of thepreventalliance.com site was transferred to my when my colleague left the company we work at yet I am not able to view and administer this domain. I received an email showing I am the whois owner today and that no further steps are needed for verification, but I’m looking to transfer it to the client company we worked with for ongoing support and renewal. It doesn’t appear under my Domains in WordPress, how to add it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I noticed that the domain thepreventalliance.com is linked to a different account than the one you’re using to contact us.In this case, you’ll need to log in to the correct account to manage the domain.

Hi! Thanks for your consideration. A former colleague I believe initialized the account though I seem to be domain owner; let me send an email to that account to clarify more in detail.
