  Hi I am transferring my domain, but now can’t on the bluehost side because it expires within 7 days. So instead of transferring now I’ll renew with you, point it to my new bluehost site and then transfer in 6-9 months so I don’t get double billed. Do I still need to pay the $13 for domain mapping? If not, how do I get that off my bill so I can pay the $5 domain registration fee?

  HI there,

  Please note that the domain registration fee is not $5. It is $18 dollars. The domain mapping ($13) is only for domains who are not registered here. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding.

  So, in my receipts it already has been showing a receipt for 1/18 (in the future?) for $26. I already took off the private registration so it should not still read $26. I will pay the $18 (even though the bill says $5 is for domain registration and $13 is for mapping), but want to make sure I am not being double billed.

  Yes it will be $18 from here on out. I see that private registration has been received. The domain is set to expire on January 18th, 2016.
