I am trying to add pages to my blog but the add button won't work
-
Hello,
I picked a theme titled “Balloons” for a blog I am trying to launch, and want to add some pages (as well as adjoining tabs to the nav bar), but when I click on “add pages,” nothing happens. Can you help?
Thanks,
Mariel

Hi there Mariel!
I’m so sorry you’re having this trouble!
Because it sounds as if you’re ready to launch once you add these pages, I’m going to give you a short cut to click on:
https://amomobsessed.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=page
You can add a new page here. In fact, you can click that link as many times as you’d like when you’re done with the first page. It will always open a blank, new page for you to create.
If you want to see a list of pages, in your sidebar, you’ll see this:
https://cloudup.com/c_cKTp2oeJ5Click All Pages, and you’ll see your list. You can click on any of these pages to edit them.
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Hi there,
It took me forever to get to this (I am currently out of the country but really trying to get my blog up and running before the month is up!), but wanted to thank you for your response. I do have more questions for you, though. :)
There is currently an About page on my Nav Bar, which I like, just want to reword the name of the page a bit. How can I do that?
I added a header image, a hed and a dek to the blog on the homepage, but the balloons from the design cover it all right up! Is there a way I can correct this?
Also, I don’t necessarily want the header image to appear on every page. Is there a way I can change that in settings?
Looking forward to hearing back from you. Thank you plenty!
Mariel

Click on the link below and change the page title. Then, click Update to save that change.

Unfortunately, the only way to change this design element is by adjusting the theme’s CSS code. As you can see, this effect is even in the theme’s demo:
https://balloonsdemo.wordpress.com/
I can certainly help with the code, but you do need the Custom Design upgrade to make this change:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/
If you don’t want the upgrade, but are bothered by the placement of the balloons, perhaps I can help you find a theme you like better? Just let me know!

You cannot pick which image you want to appear on each page. If you want to randomize the image on your site, so that a random header image pops up on every page, you can do that however. Simply click the link below and navigate to Header Image. Then, you can upload the images you want to randomize:
That should do the trick! If I can help in any other way, please drop me a line. Cheers :)
