I am trying to Keep my Web Address and not use .wordpress.com

  I have the domain http://www.modonorthamerica.com however word press is making me start with http://www.modonorthamerica.wordpress.com. How do I use wordpress to create my site but maintain modonorthamerica.com as the address?

  If you have your own existing domain name

  You need to first create a blog here (modonorthamerica.wordpress.com. would work – but can be any name (see next step)

  Then map the domain name $13.-/yr

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
