I am trying to map a domain that I had in use from another wordpress account and am getting a message that I have to wait

Hi gemmacevans! I actually have two domains that I need to map – one is lispinning.com and the other is ssgli.com
The site is a crafting guild and I had originally purchased domain mapping through my personal wordpress account. I am now trying to transfer it to the guild’s wordpress account and this is where the trouble began.

When domain mapping is removed, there is a waiting period before the same domain can be mapped through another account.
Are you able to login to the account which originally owned these domain mapping upgrades? If so, please reply here logged in to that account and confirm you are happy for ssgli to map lispinning.com and ssgli.com instead. I can then transfer the upgrades to your account.
Come back to me if you have any trouble.

So here I am under the acct which origianlly owned the domain mapping and am happy for lispinning.com and ssgli.com instead

Thank you for confirming.
I see the @ssgli account doesn’t own any upgrades. We no longer sell domain mapping upgrades on their own, so please purchase a plan/plans for the site(s) where you want to add the domain mapping upgrades, and let me know once you’ve done that. Then I can add the mapping upgrades for you.
As the @purlingswine account still owns other domain mapping upgrades, however, you might also want to try this instead: Buy the domain mapping upgrades for the correct sites using the @purlingswine account. Then comment here again as that account once you’ve done that, and I can just transfer the existing upgrades to the @ssgli account. @purlingswine will need to be an admin on a site to add a domain mapping upgrade to it.

Okay, I’ve added that domain mapping to your site.
I see the domain itself is still pointing to GoDaddy.com. To have it show your WordPress.com site, please log into your account at GoDaddy, and change the domain’s name servers to:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM
Within a few hours of doing that the domain should start showing your WordPress.com site.
