I am trying to remove this site

    I was recently charged $A 50 for a subscription to Akismet. I do not want to keep this subscription going. I wrote to doteasy some months ago asking them to discontinue my two sites. I could not find anywhere on your site where I could stop the subscription to Akismet. I wish to take down both my sites. I clicked on disconnect Akismet but I don’t know if that will stop the billing of my credit card. This is something the Australian government is looking into. The difficulty of getting out of a subscription. I cannot maintain my sites because of serious health issues.

    I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you’re experiencing with removing subscriptions. For the account you have contacted us from, there was an Akisment subscription in the past. However, it was canceled and refunded. You can view that under:

    Currently, no sites or subscriptions are associated with your WordPress.com account, and http://bodhizendosydney.wordpress.com/ has been deleted.
