I am trying to renew my domain mapping. It is expiring, no way to renew
-
Domain renewal is missing renew button
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
The person who originally bought the domain name and did the mapping is no longer on our blog team. The name and the blog were transfered to me, but the mapping renewal still has her name on it and won’t give me a way to renew the mapping.
-
If you can’t get them to transfer the mapping to you – you can let the mapping expire and repurchase it under your account – you will need the staff to help by removing the expired mapping from the blog so you can buy it new – there might be a bit of a shuffle step depending on how quickly you purchase the new domain mapping after the staff removes the expired upgrade
I will flag this for the staff to help
The good news is that you have the domain name in your account – that is the one you don’t want to loose control of
-
The domain mapping actually does appear to be in this account, and you should be able to log in to your account’s Dashboard and go to Store >> My Upgrades and renew it when it gets closer to its renewal date.
Now the domain itself is registered at GoDaddy.com, so you’ll need to keep an eye on it there and make sure it doesn’t expire!
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns!
