i am trying to upgrade my account but keep getting Failed to load script ‘https://js.stripe.com/v3/’ whatgives?

    What site are you trying to upgrade, and to which plan?

    And on which step in the upgrade process are you seeing that error? When you add the plan to your account? When you try to submit your billing details? Somewhere else?

    Please check if clearing your browser cache or using another browser makes any difference.

    I am trying to upgrade to the personal site the for $48 a year and the error is on the payment screen as the spaces for credit card number are greyed out and will accepted any information. I have tried different devices but all are same so something on my account, but what?

  • You have three sites listed in your account. Which one of those sites are you trying to upgrade?

    Nothing in your account can prevent a script from loading, and there’s nothing in your account preventing your account from making purchases from WordPress.com. What you describe is what happens when your browser isn’t able to load all the code it needs to for the page to function.

    When you tried different devices, were they all connected to the same internet connection? If so, the problem might be with the connection.

    Unplug your modem/router for a few seconds and then reboot it and see if that helps. Else, if possible, check if using a different internet connection helps.

    If not, we’ll need to check if there’s any errors showing in your browser console:

    Advanced Browser Troubleshooting

    Take a screen shot of any errors you see there, and upload them to the media library of the site you’re trying to upgrade, and I’ll be able to see them there.

  • Also please take a screen shot of the error itself on the checkout page, and upload that to the media library as well.

    the page loads no matter which plan I choose, where the payment card numbers go is grey outed will except any keystroke
