i am trying to upload wordpress onto siteground

    Hello! i’m trying to upload wordpress onto siteground. i did the fpt thing or whatever its called and am using FZ to upload the files. i’m pretty sure I unzipped them correctly. I started the process yesterday around 11am and it’s still not even done with the applications folder. It also says I have almost 10,000 files that did not transfer correctly. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, if there is an easier way to resolve this. or if i even can do it an easier way at this point cause a lot of the files i think already transferred. Can you please help me?!?!?!? i’m lost!

    I also had 3 wordpress folders when i first went to upload the files and hit the first one and it started going. i’m not sure if i was supposed to do all 3 or if i had messed it up somehow.

    You’ve posted in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We can only help with sites that are hosted on our servers.

    Over at Siteground you’re using the open source version of WordPress made by the community on WordPress.org. Support for that version of WordPress can be found at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

    But this sounds like an issue with your Siteground hosting itself, in which case Siteground support would probably be the better option to get help with this.
