I am trying WordPress to see if I will move my blog and now have a sudden search bar subscription…

  How can I cancel this subscription and is it normal to have subscriptions like this. I honestly cannot recall agreeing to sign up for a ‘search bar’ subscription…

  Current is MyOlympusOMD.Blogspot.com and I used the same MyOlympusOMD for WordPress

  I was able to cancel the search widget subscription of 6$ per month… My question still is how could it happen that I received an order like that when I am still searching for a good theme?

  Hi there:

  I’m not showing any recent purchases under the WordPress.com account that you’re posting from, so I can’t really say how it happened.

  There are prompts on WordPress.com sites for upgrades like the search upgrade, but they’re not required in order to use WordPress.com and payment isn’t processed on an upgrade unless you authorize it.

  Do you recall where you were prompted to purchase this? I’d like to be able to give this feedback to the team that handles these upgrade prompts if there’s anything that wasn’t clear.
