    I am tryng to change the email address of my primary blog but the system says the email is already in use – it was used in a blog which I have deleted. The address currently attached to my primary account is wrong and the domain has been unregistered. I must eliminate this address (ron @festivelylocal.com) and assign this one ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) ASAP. PLease help.

    Hi there,

    Once an email address is associated with a WordPress.com username, that address cannot be used for a different user account. This is true even if all blogs are deleted from that user account.

    If you still have access to the original account, you can update the email address to something else. If you can’t recall the password, use the email address in our password recovery form:
    https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Once you have changed that email address, it should free up your address to use on a new account.
