I am unable see my website here and after having some log in problems (with WordPress.org) have finally managed to get into this dashboard (WordPress.com) in order to request assistance.

After having plug in issues with my website (justinaelumeze.com), I was told by Go Daddy that they were unable to log into my WordPress admin page to assist.

After several failed attempts to log in, I changed to password on the laptop where I already had my account opened and have since been unable to get back in.

When I attempt to have the password reset link sent to my email address, the lnk is invalid and when I try to log in via WordPress.org, the response is that my username and email are unknown.

By chance, I am able to log in here (WordPress.com) but can not see my website (JustinaElumeze.com).

I used to have two sites on here in the ‘My Sites’ section but now there is only an unused ‘justinaelumezedot.com’ website and not my JUSTINAELUMEZE.COM website that I have had for over 67 years and with over 500 posts.

Please assist with this matter as I am concerned that my site may have been comprimised.

    Thank you.

All I am seeing is the website

    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Unknown

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Your site https://justinaelumeze.com/ isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform nor is it connected to a wordpress.com account for login.
The only way to login to your site is at https://justinaelumeze.com/wp-admin/ using the login and password you did choose yourself when you did set up that site.
Once logged in you can install the Jetpack plugin, https://wordpress.org/plugins/jetpack/

    Thank you for your response.

I have been having some problems with https://JustinaElumeze.com (hosted by GoDaddy) for several months now in that I have not been able to log into my dashboard via WOrdPress.ORG but have been able to with WordPress.COM via my Google account.

A few weeks ago, I had a ‘white screen’ that was rectified after Go Daddy disabled my plug ins as this was the problem but ater several attempts to activate my plug in, I called Go Daddy for assistance, where they were unable to log into my WordPress.ORG dashboard to assist.

When I attempted to do so on a different browser (as I was then logged into my account via Mozilla), I saw that my username and email were not recognised, my password didn’t work and whenever I would try to send a password reset link to my email address, the link would say invalid.

I then tried to change my password on my open dashboard page via Mozilla, and was immediately logged out and no longer can log in.

I then attempted to log into my dashboard via WordPress.COM and succeeded, only to find that out that my site is no longer there or visible.

There is a ‘…dotcom’ site but I have never used this site and there is also a link to a myftp site but again, this link is invalid.

It looks as if my site has been comprimised and I got an email from GoDaddy today to say that they have detected malware on my site.

Again, I am unable to log into my dashboard via my username and email and password does no longer work, as well as the fact that when I attempt to get a password reset link, it comes back that the link is invalid.

I attempted to register again with WordPress with the same username and email, in the hope that it would take me to my existing dashboard, but this has also failed to work.

I had over 15 failed log in attempts around the 26th October and think this may be the cause of the problem, along with the fact that after all of my plug ins were disabled, this left my site open to hackers/influx of comments, etc.

  • Hi there,

As @staartmees mentions above, we can’t help directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed business hosting. As a result we don’t have the ability to take a closer look at your site.

Instead your host (GoDaddy) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress software which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com, so for help with this you will need to turn to the open-source WordPress forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/

Specifically we use a custom login system on WordPress.com sites that is isolated from plugin conflict issues, which is my other clue that you are hosted elsewhere. However the folks at the link above have experience with troubleshooting plugin conflict issues and will be your best resource moving forward.

Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
