I am unable to change my admin email

  Whenever I login to my WordPress site and go to the account details, it shows an email address I do not recognize. I am not sure how it got there. I have tried multiple times to update it to my email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)), but it never works. Can you please help me change it and let me know why that email is there. Is it possible that someone has access to my account?
