I am unable to embed a you tube video in my posts.

  When I paste the URL directly into the post, all that shows up is the URL hotlink to You Tube, not the embedded video.

  You linked to part of your YouTube user page. Make sure that you use the actual video page URL.

  I’m not sure what you mean. I have 6 url’s in the post all linked the video but of them embed it.

  Now you have attempted to use the embed code, but that won’t work.

  Just add the following, no linking either, just straight copy and paste:

  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlqGgaNxbf0

  It still will not work. All that appears is the hotlink–no embedded video.

  It looks like it came through as a link. Edit the post and highlight the link, then click the button in the toolbar that looks like a broken chain.

  This will break the link, and the video should work.

  You may have to delete the excess embed code after it too.
