I am unhappy with the changes. Unable to resize with percentages

  Hello! There’s this feature that lets you scale your images FROM external websites that you post to your blog (I use photobucket). Before, when you upload a picture to a wordpress post and you go to the editing options there’s this resize scale with (100% 80% 90% of original size) etc.

  It was easy to use. Now today when I tried to post on my blog (bacolodfoodhunters.com) I found out that I cannot use that feature! Instead what I get are two Icons (a pen and an X mark on the upper left of the photo) I cannot RESIZE the pictures unless I manually drag the edges of the photo. I cannot find that resizing scale that I used before!

  I cannot have uniformly sized photos anymore! The scale ensured that I could have all my pictures at a regular size without “guesstimating” each and every pictures dimensions! My uploaded pictures look uneven because of this “new gimmicky” feature of wordpress.

  Why did you disable this feature? I am a paying customer, I paid for my domain and I am seriously considering moving to another blogging site because of this stupid move of wordpress that made it more troublesome to post pictures.

  If there is a way on wordpress to ensure that I don’t have to manually DRAG the edges of the photo EACH and every time I upload a picture I would like to hear it PLEASE. I do not want to use coding.

  I would also like you to consider firing the developer who implemented this change. Bring back that option to resize by percentages. WHY “FIX” something that is not broken?
  Look at all the unhappy people complaining on the forums about changes to the visual editor. Someone needs to get fired and fast.

  I’m sorry to be a bit snarky but I am NOT enjoying my wordpress experience anymore.

  For more clarification. My main image host is photobucket.com.
  I do not want to upload any photos to my media library on wordpress.

  I’ve read the posts saying that you can resize by percentage from your media library.. but I use photobucket to host my pictures. I WANT to USE MY photobucket as my media host, not wordpress.

  Before I used to be able to resize by px with pictures linked from URL from photobucket. Everything was ok.

  Then these horrible changes happened. Change IT BACK!
