I am upgrading to Premium pack but my payment is not successful

  I am converting my free pack of wordpress to the Premium pack.But when I reach the last stage of payment where I fill the detail of my credit card and click ok, it shows’This domain already exists’ and the payment is unsuccessful.Same is happening if I do through debit card.Kindly guide what to do.I want to upgrade to Premium.

  Can you confirm which domain you are trying to purchase when this error appears?

  Mam, I am presently using the free application of wordpress.But now I am adopting Premium Plan which you offer in 575Rs per month.But when I am paying the required amount,it always shows “This domain already exists” and the payment is successful.Kindly tell what to do.

  Hi there,

  The domain @genmacevans needs is your desired address URL. For example, google.com, yahoo.com, abc.xyz, wordpress.org, facebook.com are all domain names. What domain name do you want for your site?

  Hi sudhanshu000,

  My domain is wordpress.com. The full domain name is “sudhanshu000.wordpress.com

  sudhanshu000.wordpress.com is a free WordPress.com address so there is no need to purchase that domain separately using the Premium plan. You can register a custom domain like example.com (without .wordpress.com at the end) and use that instead.

  So I can look into this, it would be great if you would make a screenshot of the error you are seeing. Please include as much of the page as you can and upload the screenshot to your Media Library. Don’t post a link to the image here, I will be able to find it in your Media Library.
