I am using the Bitacora Theme but I only want the sidebar on the home page.
How can I delete the sidebar on the posts page and all new pages I create without losing it on my home page?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
By Default the Bitacora theme uses a different template to display posts on the homepage (called the “Index” template) and a separate template for displaying pages (called the “Page” template) so to remove the sidebar from pages only you can edit your page template and remove the sidebar there.
You can see the “Page” template listed here, and can click on it to edit it: https://smallestbookintheworld.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php?path=%2Fwp_template%2Fall
More info about editing templates here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/templates/edit-the-page-template/
You can also watch our recent webinar on Site Editor vs. Page Editor, to see firsthand how page templates are edited.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Thanks for that. I was able to change my page template independently of the Index. However, my page template is exactly that, a template. Wherever it is applied, it keeps the content of the template. All the pages it is applied to have the same content. I want to be able to populate these pages with different content and apply different blocks when needed. Is there a way of making that template editable at the page level? Thanks

Hi there,
I have checked your page template, and you have added content to that template related to services. What you will want to do is edit that template and remove that content and replace it with the Post Content block, which will then show the content added at Pages > Add new or Pages > All pages when the default template is set for the particular page.
- Click to open the block list view.
- Click to select the group block
- Scroll to the bottom of that block and click the + icon
- Search for and insert the Post Content Block
- Remove the blocks shown in the block list view in the red rectangle and then save the page template.

Thanks for the excellent help! I could create my own structure within the post content block independent of the template.
