I am very new to blogs made a mess of the site and wanted to restart.

  my blog is dead and it is still there. I can not move it or change it. My blog page is http://uniquehome4u.wordpress.com/about/ It states in the help to delete all which I did it also says you can not break it but I have.

  Relax – you did not “break” your blog

  When there is no Post and the Post page is displayed you get the not found message since all the Posts have been deleted

  To get rid of the scary message – try making a new Post, call it anything you want – “My first Post” is fine with some sort of text in it

  Dashboard >> Posts >> All Posts >> Add New >> Make a new Post and click on Publish, that should get rid of the scary message

  As auxclass said above as soon as you publish a post not a page the error message will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

  We can also help you in the forum. If you ask very specific questions someone should be able to give you a good answer, the more specific you can be with what you want the better the chance that you will get the proper answer the first time

  Also look back in the forum here, most of the questions are ask and answered on about a three day cycle (that is if you look back three days you will see 90% of the questions repeated and answered again and again) – looking in the forum can be quicker many times that posting a question and waiting for an answer

  Maybe seeing the same answer will help

  It’s evening time there, they can site down and have a cool one or warm one and go through the instructions – if I can figure it out most people should – but people have been using word processing programs for years and have forgotten that there was a learning curve for them and there is a bit of a learning curve here for a blog – but the basics are short – got a friend set up on their new blog and only took about 5 minutes after I registered the blog for them
