I approved a comment but it sticks around as though not yet approved

  I have one Comment which I keep trying to accept be done with it, but for some reason it keeps showing up in the left had vertical column as a Comment which needs tending to. What can I do to make that circle with the number 1 in it go to away? In desperation earlier today I tried to delete it but saw no way to do it. Then I went back to trying to let it stay, but ………. I think something is wrong with the WordPress software because other odd things have been happening, not just t his.

  Hey there, have you perhaps tried it with a different browser? Which browser are you using now? Also try clearing the cache: http://support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  I did what you said. I use Firefox, which is what WordPress recommends. I still have that little circle with the “1” in it in my comments section. No matter if I try to accept it or not accept it as a comment, it stays there as if it were not yet accepted or refused!!!
