I belive I have paid to NOT have .wordpress.com after the name of my site

  Purchased domain name but the address is for my blog is coming up with .wordpress.com.
  How do I alter/correct this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Did yo also map the domain name to your blog?

  After mapping and changing the name servers it can take 24 to 72 hours for changes to reach the far corners of the internet

  I thought I was only EVER getting the version without .wordpress.com.
  Now it appears I have 2 sites, one with and one without the .wordpress.com.
  I’m confused by this situation

  It’s one site. Anyone going to http://contemporaryartandfeminism.wordpress.com/ will be automatically redirected to http://contemporaryartandfeminism.com/. This is a good thing — it means that people who bookmarked your blog using the old domain name will still be able to find it.
