I bought a domain, but can’t use it as primary address
-
I bought earlier the domain mindful-book.com, it is confirmed as active, but I think I can’t use the domain as the primary address if I don’t pay the extra option for the Personal plan. Is this true? Because, if this is the case, I prefer to migrate the domain.
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Note that a domain can’t be transferred until you have owned it for at least 60 days. You can connect the domain to a site at some other provider but you’d need to pay them to host a site there so there may not be many or any savings made. If you had purchased a Personal plan here at WordPress.com you could have registered the domain for free for the first year. It may still be possible to do that if you wish.

Thank you for your reply!
Actually, you know what?… You are right! I already bought the personal plan and my site address was unlocked.
The fact is that I already paid for the first year. Can you convert your offer for the next year, since I also paid one year of Personal plan? Thank you for your support.

Hello!
Thank you for getting back to us.
There are two options:
1. I can use the free domain credit from your account to refund you for the domain you purchased before purchasing the Personal subscription and use them for mindful-book.com.
2. You can use the free domain credit from the Personal subscription to purchase another domain.
Please let us know which of those options will work for you. -
Thank you for your answer.
For the moment, please refund me for the domain I purchased before purchasing the Personal plan.Thank you!

Hey there,
Thank you for that confirmation. I’ve gone ahead and cancelled and refunded the domain: mindful-book.com for you.
The refund should appear within 10 working days.
It looks like you’re still in the early stages of building the site. What long term plans do you have?
Looking forward to hearing more!

I am not sure he wanted the domain cancelling. I think he expected a refund for the domain now he had purchased a Personal plan which included the domain free for the first year?? Perhaps the OP could confirm his intentions??
-
Of course I did not want to cancel my domain, people!!!
I paid TWICE for the domain and I asked if:- I can use one payment for the next year or
- there is another solution
I received the message that I can only opt for the money back for one year, since I had already bought the Personal plan that included one year of that domain…
Please solve this problem as soon as possible! Read again all messages. I am not an English native, but for sure I know what I am writing.
Sincerely yours,
Adrian

Actually, I did not want to purchase TWO domain, just because I paid twice and there are overlapping options I could not handle otherwise.
Please solve this issue.

Thank you, @themagicrobot, for drawing attention!
Of course that was my intention. How could it be seen otherwise? I still wonder.

Hello there @arhitectadrian!
Thank you so much for your patience and for clarifying further! The refund stands, but the domain, mindful-book.com, has now been restored to your account.
As such, now you’ve only paid for the Personal plan, and the domain will renew at the regular cost, upon its next renewal, since the domain is free for the first year only.
The Professional Mail subscription is active currently, and in the first three months, the trial is free. As such, you won’t begin paying until October.
I hope this has been helpful, but feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!

Hello,
Yes, thank you, this is exactly what I was expecting yesterday. It is clear now.
Best regards,
Adrian
