I bought a domain name from godaddy and trying to use it on wordpress

hello, I bought a domain name from godaddy. There is nothing wrong with the godaddy domain name I purchased however, I cant get my godaddy domain to sync with the wordpress website.

In order to get your domain working the way you want it, you have two options.
The first option would be to transfer your domain to WordPress, so you can manage your site and your domain in one place. If that is what you would like to do, this page will help you out with transferring the GoDaddy domain to WordPress: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
On the other hand, if you would like to keep your domain registered at GoDaddy, you can map it to your WordPress site by using the instructions found here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
After completing one of those steps, or if your domain has already been transferred or mapped, you’ll need to make sure you set the custom domain as the primary domain of your WordPress site. You can do that by following the instructions found at this link:
