I bought a year of hosting through Namecheap but can’t set up a sight

  how do I set up my website when I’ve already paid for a year of hosting?

  I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

  Hi there,

  You can create a WordPress.com site with at least a personal plan which allows you to connect your domain name properly. and then you can do that by visiting the settings.

  Hi there,

  I see you’ve managed to connect your domain to your WordPress.com site. But just a note: if you plan on using the domain here on WordPress.com, on our Premium Plan as you currently have it set up, then we are your host. So you don’t need to pay Namecheap for hosting as well – you only need to pay them for your domain.
