  I bought my domain from godaddy and managed it so it can be forwarded to my wordpress account but it does forward on to the wordpress account but the page doesn’t come up and it errors??

  I don’t pay godaddy or wordpress for hosting, is this what I need to do? I have another blog which I only created in wordpress and that is out there for people to find so I don’t understand why I can’t do this one?

  Really need to know it is urgently please – appreciate ANY suggestions!!

  When you purchased your domain from Go daddy you have to forward to your wordpress.com blog address “user.wordpress.com” I believe you also have to set the name servers for wordpress. Try setting them to NS1.wordpress.com and NS2.wordpress.com and see if that works.

  What is the domain name you are trying to “forward”? Domain forwarding has some issues – you should be Domain Mapping $13.-/yr if you want your custom domain name to show up in search results or build any brand ID

  PS – if you just set the name servers to WordPress.COM without domain Mapping you will crash things and it will not work at all
