I bought the domain but it still has .wordpress.com

  I bought the domain name for my site, but when I type it in, it still has .wordpress.com. Isn’t that supposed to go away?

  Your blog is successfully mapped to bloglikeitshot.com.

  In order to show bloglikeitshot.com in the address bar of your browser, you will need to update your primary domain:

  • Go to the Upgrades > Domains page from your blog’s Dashboard
  • Click the selection button next to ‘bloglikeitshot.com ‘, then click the ‘Update Primary Domain’ button

  This will update your primary domain name from bloglikeitshot.wordpress.com to bloglikeitshot.com.
