I buy the domain scumpvp.fr as a free site

    At first, i thought the domain would be changed from scumpvp.wordpress.com to scumpvp.fr but I rea that the domain will not change because I am in a free mode.

    What is the point of buying a domain, does the visitor can see it somewhere ?

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Thanks for writing to us. In order for the domain to display in the browser bar for visitors you’ll want to add a hosting plan to the account. You still own the domain regardless of the hosting plan, which is a benefit in building a custom/professional web presence for your project.
