I can´t get my background display right, it does not work

  Background does not work:

  I try to get a background for my new theme sixteen nine. But i can do what i want: it does not display properly. I can´t crop the image, i alway see a tiny little bit of the image just on the right – and impossible to change place of the image. I can´t even describe the problem properly: i cannot get the detail of my photo there where i want it.
  It does not change anything if i choose “left” or “right” or middle, it is ALWAYS the same.
  Please help me to get my background as i would like it – the theme was so expensive and now i dont get it to work!

  I see you’ve set a black background now. Could you please try to set the background again at https://majorneryz.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php?page=custom-background ?

  Hello, and thank you so much for answering!
  In the meantime, i have tried a lot to crop the background-photo, but i still have problems.
  I will set one background to show the problem – just a minute…

  So, i set one new background. I don´t understand why the photo is blurred – it is absolutely not blurred in its original. I did not zoom it at all – the background setting does that as it wants – it seems to me.
  How do i get to manage that?

  And sorry for mistakes etc. – i am german and do not speak and write in english very often … and on top of that i am a total newbie in blogging …

  The image is blurred because it’s too small as a background image. Try uploading a larger image and you will see it looks better :)

  I tried quite a lot now, but i am unable to set the photo there where i want it … i will return to a black background – i find that very beautiful, too.

  I think the reason why it does not work is because i do not have appropriate photos.
