I can’t make my bullet points display correctly. Can you help, please?

    I’m having issues with bullets and CSS design on my custom twenty eleven site. I’d like the bullets on the side bar (listing out the archives, etc.) to no longer be there, and I would like the bullets in posts to be discs rather than squares (to go along with the theme of polka dots:

    PS: I have upgraded my domain to offbeatcharm.com (my web address goes to that site), but wordpress still has my offbeatcharm.wordpress.com address listed as my web address. Can this be updated please? Thank you!

  • Hi there,

    Looks like you were able to figure out the sidebar, but if you also want to remove the numbered list formatting for the Blogs I Follow widget, you can try this modified CSS as well:

    #main .widget-area ul, #main .widget-area ol {
    	margin-left: 0;
    	list-style: none;
    }

    and I would like the bullets in posts to be discs rather than squares (to go along with the theme of polka dots:

    Do you have a link to the page/post in question? I’m happy to take a closer look.

    PS: I have upgraded my domain to offbeatcharm.com (my web address goes to that site), but wordpress still has my offbeatcharm.wordpress.com address listed as my web address. Can this be updated please?

    Where are you seeing this displayed? I’m happy to take a closer look here as well.

    Got the bullet fix from a friend. Thank you for the widget fix with the numbers–edited that right away. Good looking out!

    Peace-
    Amie

  • Great, glad I could help!

    Happy Blogging :)
