I can copy items but not paste

    I decided I wanted to move multiple media and text blurbs lower on my website, but I can copy them but not paste them. There is a button to copy them in the drop down menu with the 3 dots, but no paste option when I’m at the part of the page I want them moved to—and command c and command v aren’t working (I’m on a Mac). Anyone know what to do?

    Hi there,

    Can you tell me which post/page you’re working on, and also what exactly you’re trying to copy?

    There’s no button to paste, no. The Copy option you refer to is part of the block you’re copying from, but there’s no block you’re pasting to, as the new block will only be created at the moment you paste that content.

    But you should be able to paste using either Cmd-V or right-click ->Paste. I just tested both those methods on a MacBook, and they’re working as expected for me.

    If Cmd-C/Cmd-V isn’t working for you to copy or paste, that points to an issue with your browser. I assume you’re using Safari, right? Can you check if copy/paste works if you use Firefox or Chrome instead?
