I can login to WordPress but it says I don’t have a site associated with my account.

I got a message I don’t have a website associated with my WP account. When I try to add my website to my profile on WordPress.com, the system assumes I want to create a new one. I’m not clear what to do but I’d like to be sure my website and my profile are linked. How do I do that? Thank you!

Hi mksbiz100k,
The account you are logged in to at the moment doesn’t own any WordPress.com sites. Can you send a link to the site you wish to edit?
If you let me know, I’ll take a look.

Dear gemmacevans,
Thank you for responding.
My WordPress website is https://YourJourneyToLastingLove.com
Thank you!

Hi, Thank you. I see you are staff. Can you help me change published date to updated date? I update my blogs and I’d like the new date to show…
With gratitude for your help…

@mksbiz100k ah, okay. That site isn’t actually hosted here with us. It is a WordPress.org installation at GoDaddy.
You can still use WordPress.com’s apps to manage the site though if you’re using Jetpack:
Is that what you’re trying to do?
If you’re looking for general support for WordPress.org (rather than support specific to the WordPress.com service) you can check out https://wordpress.org/support

Also, if it helps, here’s the difference between an individual installation and our service:
