I can no longer post pictures and videos into my posts

    My Blog is no longer functioning to my satisfaction. Everything has been changed in the way one posts. If you see my blog:

    I like to write about art and music and embed/paste illustrations/pictures into the posts.

    I am no longer able to do this!!

    I am VERY upset.

    Please fix this issue.

    Many blogs like to do this- it is ruining my wordpress blog.

    I’ve been specific- I write up a post, click on insert to insert a pic and it doesn’t insert, nor is it allowed to insert a video link (http), nor do the heading formats work when you choose them.

    Let’s work on these things one at a time. Starting with the image insertion.

    When you are making your post, which button are you clicking to add a picture? The picture icon or the chain icon?

    Here’s a screenshot:

    If you are just trying to add a URL of an image from elsewhere on the internet, you do not need to click any buttons. If you just paste the URL into the body of your post, the editor will post it as an image.

    Hello edwardianpiano and rootjosh,

    Just like rootjosh mentioned, you can also use the same method to embed a YouTube video. This will make it much easier to embed external videos and pictures to your posts.
