I can no longer upload videos from YOUTUBE for use in my blog when I press the add media and go to that page it no longer supports videos for download

Hi there – I am a volunteer and perhaps I can help.
On my WordPress.com website, if I want to display a video from YouTube, I copy the URL from YouTube (looks like this: https://youtu.be/7NDvbDLUF8A
and paste it into the post editor. Then WordPress converts the URL into a video for me.

Also, if you want to make a video available for download, you will need to find another method than the one I pointed you towards.
