    I can not edit my site, and I can not add a new post, and I can not edit my old posts

    When I try to edit a post I find this blank page:

    First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

    If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

    If it is, please do these two things:

    1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

    2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

    Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

    I am facing the same issue since yesterday as well.

    I haven’t written any new posts since February and wanted to write one last night and have been attempting to do so since then. But I am facing the same issue.

    I have cleared the cache and tried – browsers are up-to-date and i find that it is not just this blog of mine that is facing the same problem. another blog I host on wordpress.com is also facing the same issue.

    Sites that discuss tips on how to address this asks us to disable plugins, reinstall other themes etc. but since my account is a personal account, i dont have plugin support and i am using a basic theme as well.

    Currently I am unable to even test out other themes as theme elements are not loading properly according to the message I am receiving.

    Any help is appreciated. This is extremely frustrating when this has never ever happened before at any point in my blogging history.

    Firefox Version 89.0 (64-bit)

    Cleared cookies and site data even before – and did just now as well.

    Logged back into wordpress.com using my credentials and now the “write” button doesn’t even take my to the page which previously just kept loading without showing anything.

    I have always used firefox for my blogging and this has never happened

    I have disabled all browser extensions and add-ons

    Thanks for confirming! I think this might be a bug with newer versions of Firefox. I’ve reached out to our development team and we’ll post an update if we have more information.

    In the meantime, try a different browser than Firefox and let us know if you see the same issue.

    I have tried the same with Google Chrome as well: Version 91.0.4472.77 (Official Build) (64-bit)

    Disabled all extensions, cleared cache, browsing data etc.

    I get the following error when I press “write”

    This site can’t be reachedThe connection was reset.
    Try:

    Checking the connection
    Checking the proxy and the firewall
    Running Windows Network Diagnostics
    ERR_CONNECTION_RESET

    Firefox doesn’t show any error and just keeps trying to reach the page I suppose.

    That’s definitely the problem, but I cannot reproduce the issue under Chrome myself.

    Can you check under any other network?

    Seems to be a FireFox problem indeed. Using Chrome solved it.

    I have tested on Google Chrome as well.

    The issue persists.

    I have done that twice already. Dont think doing so a third or fourth time is going to be of any help. But I will try once again.

    Now all extensions and add-ons are disabled on both Chrome and Firefox.

    I think it is a wordpress issue.

    And I dont have the kind of access to rest of solutions posted on multiple forums regarding this “white screen of death”, as the current plan is “personal” and i dont have rights to install plugins and bring about coding changes that may have messed up my site.
