I CAN NOT EDIT OR TRASH MY HOME PAGE!! :(

  Hi I am new to wordpress and this is my first time creating a website.

  My problem is that:
  when I click ‘All pages’ all other pages show up, except the home page so I can’t edit it. But when I go to ‘visit site’ the ‘home’ button is on the website. Even when I delete all pages, there is still the ‘home’ button on the website. What can I do so I can edit the ‘home’ page?

  Please provide the website address (URL) of the WordPress.com site you are referring to.

  The only way to remove the “Home” link in the header navigation menu is to create and activate a Custom Menu, but to not include in the custom menu a menu item with the navigation label “Home.”

  The “Home” link merely links to the Website URL, otherwise known as the front page. By default, the “Home” button links to the posts page on a WordPress.com site, because the front page is set by default to display the posts page. If you change the front page setting so that it displays, instead, a static page, the “Home” link will then link to the static page, but the URL will be the same.
