I can not log into wp-admin

  I couldn’t figure out how to make my website show. I was getting “the website is under construction” sign. I read in a forum to delete the home.html from the root menu. Now I can see my website but I can not get into the wp-admin. Even through my site I can not customize. I get and error 500 page that pops up.
