I can not see my website when I enter my URL.

    I’m not sure if my clients are seeing the 500 internal error I am seeing. Go daddy assures me all is well on their end. Please help. Not sure forums are the answer.

    Since your site is hosted at GoDaddy(not on WordPress.COM) and is using the WordPress.ORG software, I would suggest you to post your question on the WordPress.ORG support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/

    This forum only supports the sites hosted on WordPress.COM and not elsewhere.

    Both(WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG) are different products. You can find out the differences between them here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    Thanks. After a couple of hours on the phone last night with Remote business help (they sell several hosting companies and I thought i had transferred from go daddy several years ago), they unravelled the mess and got me up and running. I had to purchase SSL certificate, where without it, I was prevented from seeing and editing my live site on iphone and chromebook. It would be nice if owning a free site weren’t so complicated. But it is way less bother and expense than hiring someone to create and maintain a website. My wordpress site and blog look great.
