I can see my account and can’t access it, as I confused my account name.

  This present account is not the one I want to use, it was set up arbitrarily, I want my old account and know it’s proper user name, which WP now won’t acknowledge. What happened? I need someone to explain where I have gone wrong.

  Have you tried logging out from your current account and logging back in with the desired account? You can log out by pressing the “Log Out” button on the following link.

  If you can’t log in, then the best thing to do would be to reset the password of the account you want to use. You can do that here.
