I can see the default header under my custom header
-
I uploaded a custom header and I can still see the default header underneath it. Take a look. http://www.edithandlulu.wordpress.com
What is going on? How do I fix this? I’ve tried everything. -
The custom header is a background image; your blog’s title and tagline display over the top of this image.
I took a quick peak at the HTML and CSS for the page, and it looks to me like you would need the CSS upgrade in order to hide the text (at least with the theme you’re using).

There are other themes in which you can turn off the type that appears over your custom header image — “Benevolence” is one. There are also other themes where the type appears above the custom header image instead of in front of it.

I think I just fixed it. Since the image I uploaded has my blog title I left the blog title and the tag line blank. But, how will this affect how a blog is seen in a search engine?

I don’t know how the search engines will treat it, but it does give you a blank title tag in your HTML header. Because of this, when I look at your site in FireFox, the tab has the URL (http://edithandlulu.wordpress.com/) rather than the name of your blog.

Do you have the CSS upgrade? What kind of file is the header image? Have you changed the header image at all recently?
