I can sign-on to wordpress but my site is deleted????

  I created a site some time ago and would like to use it. Cannot create site because it is exists but not accessible. How do I get this corrected as my profile contains the relevant email address and therefore I cannot create a new site with an old email address. Catch 22???

  https://adkriel.wordpress.com/ was deleted. The reason why you can not create a new website using this address it is that no deleted WordPress.com blog address can be recycled, restored, or re-created. See the Recycling Blog Adresses (URLs) support page.

  You may create a new site, as long as the address you propose to use hasn’t been used before.

  Hi, Thanks for the response. the Recycling Blog mentions the following:
  …allow someone to take over the address of a blog that was owned and deleted by its original/previous owner….
  I have slightly different request in that I want the site RE_INSTATED?
  Can that be done?

  No. The wording “cannot…allow someone to take over” in the paragraph you quoted from isn’t as clear as it could be, but the meaning is that no one, including the original or previous owner can reuse it. The line at the beginning of this paragraph is less ambiguous:

  Addresses (URLs) for blogs that have been deleted by the owner will remain deleted.
